Start with the product and process route
A complete lightweight block line connects material preparation, metering, mixing, moulds, curing, cutting and handling. The published product families include CLC, NAAC, EPS and ceramsite blocks. Each route needs its own material and equipment assessment.
For CLC foam concrete, mechanically produced foam creates the cellular structure. The published CLC and NAAC block routes both use non-autoclaved curing, but they create those pores differently.

How the published CLC route works
- Prepare and meterMeasure the approved powders, aggregate and water for the batch.
- Foam and mixGenerate physical foam and control its addition to the cementitious mix.
- Fill the mouldsCoordinate pouring, fill level and mould circulation.
- Cure without an autoclaveHold the material under the conditions established for the formulation.
- Demould and cutRelease the billet when it is ready for handling and dimensional cutting.
- Transfer and stackConnect finished-block movement and storage to the factory cycle.
03 / Process distinction
CLC and NAAC need different pore-forming controls
CLC / Physical foaming
Preformed foam
Mechanical foaming equipment prepares foam before it is combined with the mix. Foam quality, addition and mixing sequence are part of the process design.
CLC production route →NAAC / Chemical aeration
Gas formation within the mix
The published NAAC route uses chemical aeration. Material compatibility, aerating-agent dosage, expansion and setting require their own controls.
NAAC production route →Curing remains essential. Non-autoclaved production still requires a defined curing method. Demoulding, cutting and later handling depend on the condition of the material. Shared equipment does not make CLC and NAAC interchangeable formulations.
04 / Cutting and upgrades
Select the cutter around the billet and finished block
The cutting catalogue lists combined horizontal and vertical cutters, gantry vertical cutters and horizontal saw systems. Each belongs to a defined equipment configuration. Selection should connect the required cutting directions with billet condition, product dimensions and handling.
For a new line or an existing-factory upgrade, record the incoming billet size, target block sizes, expected cutting condition and transfer arrangement. Agree how the finished dimensions will be checked during trials before confirming the cutting package.

Indonesia: CLC equipment dispatch
The October 2026 dispatch report documents a non-autoclaved CLC line equipped with HENGDE’s eighth-generation cutting system. The report shows the shipment stage and the planned installation and training support, not a claim of completed production.

Assess the actual material supply
Provide source information, representative samples and available test reports. Grading, moisture, composition and consistency help determine the trial plan. Sand, stone powder, fly ash or recycled mineral inputs need assessment for the intended product.

Plan the complete production cycle
State saleable daily output and shifts. Match batching, mould turnover, curing space, cutting and handling to the same basis. Review workshop access, storage, power, water, compressed air and staffing with the selected configuration.
Review capacity and layout planning →
Confirm figures for your project. Output, block properties, utilities, labour, curing duration and investment depend on the tested formulation and agreed equipment scope. This guide does not assign a universal production or performance rating.
Compare existing daily-capacity references
Use the linked configuration pages to compare their published shift and equipment assumptions. HENGDE plans mould circulation, curing space and cutting rhythm around the target product; design capacity is distinct from qualified finished-block output.

06 / Buyer questions
Frequently asked questions
What is a CLC foam concrete block production line?
It is a connected system for making cellular lightweight concrete blocks using mechanically generated foam. The published CLC route covers material metering, foaming and mixing, mould filling, non-autoclaved curing, cutting and block handling. The final machine scope follows the tested materials and intended product.
Is CLC the same process as NAAC?
No. CLC introduces preformed physical foam into the mix. The NAAC route described on this site forms pores through chemical aeration. Dosing, mixing, expansion and setting controls must suit the selected route; a shared mixer or cutter does not make the processes interchangeable.
Does non-autoclaved mean that curing can be skipped?
No. Both published routes need controlled curing. Material trials establish the conditions for demoulding, cutting, handling and continued curing. A fixed curing time cannot be promised without the formulation, product requirements and factory conditions.
Can local sand, stone powder, fly ash or other mineral materials be used?
Potentially, subject to assessment. Provide representative samples, supply information and available laboratory reports. Grading, moisture, composition and variability affect preparation and the working mix. A material name alone does not establish suitability or an approved formulation.
What daily production capacity should a buyer request?
State the required saleable output, block dimensions and working shifts. Capacity planning must connect batch rhythm, mould turnover, curing space, cutting and handling. The project proposal should state its output basis and site assumptions; a catalogue machine rating is not a whole-factory output guarantee.
How should a block cutting system be selected?
Begin with the billet dimensions and condition at cutting, finished block sizes, cutting directions and downstream handling. Review the required dimensional acceptance criteria and trial method with the supplier. The published catalogue includes combined horizontal and vertical cutters, gantry vertical cutters and horizontal saw systems for specific configurations.
Can an existing line be upgraded or used for more than one process?
Compatibility needs an engineering review. Some handling or cutting modules may be shared, while dosing, foaming or chemical-aeration equipment, moulds and controls can differ. For an upgrade, provide the existing machine layout and product requirements before confirming the interfaces.
What should be included in a factory quotation?
Ask for the agreed product and process route, equipment list, output basis, layout, utilities and customer site-preparation responsibilities. Confirm the scope of installation, commissioning, operator training and spare-parts support in the proposal and contract. Price comparisons are useful only when the scope and assumptions are comparable.
Are installation, commissioning and operator training available?
HENGDE publishes project services for commissioning and training, including machine-sequence checks, material trials, operator instruction and handover information. The work, responsibilities, timing and site-readiness requirements must be agreed for the individual project.
What information is needed to start an inquiry?
Prepare the project country, target block type and dimensions, planned output and shifts, available raw materials, land or workshop information, utilities and current project stage. Use the existing contact page for a project inquiry, or the raw-material assessment page for a material review.
What is the delivery lead time?
Delivery lead time: 40–50 working days.
