A Spare-Parts and Remote-Support Handover Checklist for Overseas Block Lines
An overseas block factory needs a handover pack the local team can use during an actual stoppage. HENGDE organizes the supplied machine identifiers, current drawings, maintenance instructions and parts information together, then trains the customer's contacts to report a problem clearly. This connects the installed equipment with practical support after commissioning.

The information that must match the delivered machine
Give every supplied machine a record containing its model, identification plate, configuration and drawing revision. Link the operating manual and electrical diagram to that record. Keep a working copy where the maintenance team can find it, with a controlled backup for later revisions.
For example, the HDSHM1-001 rotary cutter in HENGDE’s two-shift standard proposal has two vertical saw frames and a rotating table. The same proposal lists separate control cabinets and a remote module. Those references describe that configuration; the handover pack for another order must follow its actual supplied equipment and control arrangement.
| Handover item | What to confirm before shipment or commissioning |
|---|---|
| Machine record | Model, identification photograph, delivered configuration and current manual |
| Drawings and controls | Electrical revision, component references and authorized settings backup |
| Maintenance | Inspection, cleaning and lubrication tasks from the supplied instructions |
| Parts | Compatible specification, supplier reference and the agreed ordering route |
| Customer contacts | Trained operator, maintenance representative and support coordinator |
| Support arrangements | Contact method, information to provide and agreed remote or site-service scope |
Choose spare parts by their effect on production
Separate routine consumables from maintenance replacements and components that stop the line when unavailable. For each selected part, ask how the team identifies wear, who replaces it and how long a compatible replacement takes to reach the site. This creates a stock plan based on the delivered configuration.
For a cutting station, the exact cutting tool and associated replacement specifications matter. For transfer and controls, a sensor or drive reference must identify the compatible component and its installation requirements. A photograph that looks similar is not enough to order an electrical replacement.
Check proposed local substitutes with the support team before installation. Confirm electrical rating, mechanical fit and control compatibility as applicable. Agree the initial spares list before shipment, when the equipment schedule and part references are available. There is no useful universal stock quantity for every factory.
A fault report that helps the engineer diagnose the stoppage
Send the machine identifier, exact alarm text or code, time of the event and the production step where it stopped. Describe the material or load, the last normal cycle and recent maintenance or setting changes. State what the trained team has already checked under the machine’s procedure.
For an illustrative report, “the cutter stopped” leaves the team guessing. “Machine A, alarm code photographed at the panel, during the second cutting direction, after yesterday’s tool replacement” directs the discussion toward a specific sequence and recent change. The example describes the information needed, not an actual HENGDE customer fault.
Take photographs or video from a safe position. Do not enter a guarded area, defeat an interlock or open energized equipment to obtain a better recording. Qualified local personnel perform the inspections requiring physical access or isolation.
Remote support with clear site control
Begin with the alarm record, drawings and observations. Many diagnostic questions can be answered without a remote connection. Where the delivered system includes agreed remote capability, the site representative authorizes the session and coordinates it with trained personnel.
Use an access arrangement approved by the site’s responsible controls and IT personnel. Do not expose a PLC directly to the public internet or create an uncontrolled permanent connection. Remote troubleshooting must not bypass guarding, emergency stops, safety functions or the local isolation procedure.
Record the purpose of the session, any authorized parameter or software change and the final configuration. The local team verifies the machine through the approved restart checks before returning it to normal service. Close temporary access when the support session ends and keep the change record with the machine history.
Practise the handover before the installation team leaves
Ask the customer team to locate one machine manual, identify one replacement part and prepare one support request. Resolve missing references while the commissioning team is on site. HENGDE’s after-sales support and operator training connect those documents with the team that will operate the factory.
