Reuse needs a technical survey

HENGDE’s January 2026 retrofit overview considers converting existing equipment towards self-insulating or ceramsite block production. The proposed work includes the cutting route, mould-box arrangement, stacking and packaging, alongside the suitability of existing factory buildings and machinery.

Confirm the new process rather than assuming the old one

AAC, non-autoclaved foamed concrete and ceramsite products do not have identical recipes or curing requirements. A retrofit proposal should identify which process is intended, what equipment remains, what is replaced and how material trials and acceptance will be carried out.

Evaluate time and cost against the actual factory

Survey results, equipment condition, utilities, product requirements and construction access affect the programme and investment. Generic saving percentages or renovation durations cannot replace a project-specific scope and schedule.
