Measure the existing process

The 2024 archive discusses handling, cut quality, blade changes and waiting time as reasons to review older equipment. Record the current cycle, body condition, product sizes, offcuts and operator tasks. These observations help distinguish a cutting limitation from a curing or material problem.

Compare equivalent conditions

Test proposed equipment on the same material and agreed dimensions. Include loading, positioning, all cuts and unloading in the cycle. Review guarding, dust management and maintenance access in the supplied design. Keep trial results separate from general claims that a particular saw type is obsolete or that every retrofit multiplies output.
