Identify what can be reused

HENGDE’s 2024 retrofit guides discuss adapting material preparation, mixing, moulds, curing and cutting. Inspect the existing machines and facilities before deciding their role in the new route. Aggregate grading, product geometry and material handling may require changes that are not visible in an outline layout.

Agree a phased implementation plan

Document retained equipment, new machinery, site works, utilities, shutdown arrangements and responsibilities. Validate the materials and curing route before commissioning the full line. A conversion should finish with agreed product and operating tests; generic energy-saving or investment claims are not a substitute for a site-specific scope.
